2 posts in a day?! wow!! when i don't post i don't post when i post can be border line compulsive. we have a colleague from JKT at our office now to collect some spares. and he's part of the 'workshop boys' my dad used to manage before he came back permanently here.

just heard my dad conversing with him in bahasa. a smile just burst thru. then and there i realised that i missed it. missing hearing conversations in bahasa despite probably only knowing 40% of what's going on. and i miss JKT and nikum and the 'workshop boys' - i mean they are also part of those pple who have seen me grow up.

it's just heartbreaking to know that we'll prob lose contact sooner or later. and i will always remember those few who take extra effort to visit us, buy things for us and even just hang out in the mall with us cos we haven't been down often and they want to spend time with us. imagine a young girl, even younger boy and a bunch of late 20s - early 30s pple walking ard in the mall.

we had our very own michael shumarker (however u spell his name), cute little guy called nu2, we had the cheeky guy... and the talented welder person. we've had mr no. 1. those were the happy memories.

and in some way i know it breaks my dad's heart for him to come back to sg. esp since he built something and trained someone up from scratch. it's just so hard to let it all just go. even for me.. i feel nostalgia every time i think back on those days. gosh... what a walk down memory lane. something i'll always treasure.
